| I was just wondering how many people really QT their corals? for I can speak from experience that getting pests in your display sucks. I've learned to QT all corals for at least 21 days before they go into my display no matter what coral it is.

| I broke down my tank and had to QT everything after getting AEFW on a zoa frag. I used to think that I did not have the room, but imo, you could always find room for a 10-20 gallon QT set up rather than having to go through the crap I went through
Dipping is good, but does NOTHING for eggs. Thats like wearing a condom but cutting off the tip

That was a tank I set up to treat all of my acros when I went through my AEFW battle a few years back. I removed them, dipped them, cut off all bases, dipped again 4 times over the next 6-7 weeks and put them back in my display without any bugs. That tank is long gone, but that is why I set up my now QT/frag tank

| I don't but like most know that I probably should.
Do you treat the QT tank with FlatWorm Exit, Interceptor, etc?

| If you dip before they do into the tank and if you carefully inspect each coral before placing them into the QT tank, you should be good, but thats just me. If I did ever have them, nothing a $10 wrasse wouldn't fix | |

| i havent but i will soon... a big reason for my new prop tank i wanted to do it before i had colonies and a problem arose..... right now i have mostly frags so it is easy to check them but i feel ya 100% on this..... it also was what made me keep that prop system seperate from my display..... | |

| Acro free... I did remove some of the heavily encrusted rocks. You have to cut off their food source and starve them out. | |
