| Subject: Acans Not Opening 8/8/2010, 11:01 pm | |
| I just picked up a couple of acans 2 weeks ago and for the first few days they were looking nice and plump but for the last week they have not puffed up.I checked my params and all is good ca450,mag1400,p04 0.000 hanna checker.Anybody have any suggestions on what it could be?? | |

| Your KH is on point too? what kits are you using and did you confirm with other kits that your results were accurate? How much light do you have them in?
Have they stayed in the same placement since you got them? Could it be flow related? Most of my Lords prefer pretty moderate flow to get proper extension.
Try killing all flow and feeding them some PE a few times a week and I bet they will puff back out.

They do get moderate flow,as far as lighting they are on the SB under a Gen 1 LED fixture and the fixture is raised 9'" off the water surface due to the cooking of my sps. | |

I think it might be light but if I had to take a educated guess it might be AIDS | |
